The Internet is full of information – mostly in the form of text. But, a significant chunk of data lies in the form of video. Some video producers may allow and provide direct download links for the videos. Others may not. This screams for the need of a hack to download videos.
If you are a Firefox user like me, this hack is pretty straight-forward. Actually, it’s as simple as installing an addon. (If you do not have Firefox, get it from here.)
NetVideoHunter Video Downloader is a download helper tool that let you easily download videos and music from almost any video-sharing site. For example from: Youtube, Facebook, Metacafe, Dailymotion, Break, VKontakte, DivShare, etc.
The addon allows us to download Youtube videos in different qualities (360p, 480p, 720p, 1080p), if available. By default it downloads in the best available quality.
Before downloading the video, you can preview it in a built-in media player. It has fullsceen and video smoothing capabilities, so you can enjoy videos in fullscreen with better quality even if the website’s own player don’t have this feature.
thanks for the review! however, I found a new helpful tool for those who are disappointed with this program…the tool is called torch browser and if you know it and would like to review it here- I would be happy to check it out
Torch browser looks promising, Emily. I’ll surely check it out.
Well thank you! hope you liked it.
Did you try it yet?
