Free Press Release Distribution With PageRank

press release distribution

There is a lot of debate on whether or not press releases are good or bad for a site’s SEO campaign. Because this site has pretty solid SEO, all of which has been done manually, I’m not too worried about that. A press release is a great way to get traffic from interested news sources, and that is what I aim to do. Several large companies like PRweb.com will submit your press release to the New York Times, USA Today and more but it’s quite pricey at $369. For those on a budget or who are just starting in the business, here is my own list of free press release distribution services that do not require registration as of right now. For your convenience, I’ve organized the list based on PageRank.

I’ve actually written a couple of press releases before, I don’t really see the harm in them. As this article says, there are free portals that site owners can take advantage of, and issuing one, although it’s positive effects could be argued, it certainly doesn’t have a negative effect.
