The new Apple watch will be released on April 24th, and if you’re smart you will get your preorder in before that. Preorders begin April 10th – just a week away. If you want to be one of the first to wear the new watch, follow these tips to delay any deliveries.
Preorder Tryon
During preorder, Apple watches will be on display in-store and potential buyers will have the opportunity to try one on. But, you have to be quick as the opportunity is on a first-come-first-serve basis. Before preordering your new Apple watch, there are a few things to keep in mind. Here’s a quick guide to preordering your Apple watch:
Is your phone compatible?
All of the Apple Watch models are compatible with iPhone 6, iPhone 6 Plus, iPhone 5, iPhone 5S and iPhone 5C.
What about Apple Pay?
With the help of the Apple watch, iPhone 5, 5S and 5C users will now be able to use Apple Pay, as it is included in the device.
How to Figure Out Your Size
If you want to be one of the first to own an Apple watch, there is the possibility that you won’t be able to try it on before receiving it. Figuring out the size of the face and band length is important, but how do you know which sizes to order? Here are some tips:
To figure out the correct face size, the best way to go about this would be to cut a paper version of each of the Apple Watch faces and then place on your wrist instead of guessing. To figure out the size of the band that you need, take a flexible measuring tape and wrap it snuggly around your wrist. This will measure the exact circumference and will help in finding the right size band. Please note that all bands available in stores are interchangeable.
- For a snug fit add ½ inch (12mm)
- For a comfortable fit on most people, add ¾ to 1 inch (18-25mm)
- For a loose fit add 1 ¼ inch (32mm)
